1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the DWAR (Digital Wireless Android Ringer) application, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

These Terms form a legal agreement between you and DWAR.

2. Service Description

DWAR is a 100% free digital visitor notification system. It allows homeowners to receive alerts when visitors scan a unique QR code placed at their entrance.

The service includes:

• Generation of a personal QR code via the DWAR app
• Real-time communication via video, audio, or chat (powered by Google Meet)
• Push notifications on your smartphone
• Visitor logging and history tracking

Important: DWAR is entirely software-based. There is no physical device, hardware, or product shipped. The “DWAR doorbell” is a digital QR code that you print or display on any screen.

2.1 Service Availability

We strive to keep DWAR running, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:

• Technical maintenance or updates
• Changes in third-party services (e.g., Google Meet API changes or blocks)
• Network or device issues beyond our control

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To use DWAR, you must create an account using your email or phone number. All information provided must be accurate and current.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for:

• Keeping your login credentials private
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Reporting any unauthorized access immediately

3.3 No Cost, Ever

DWAR is completely free to download and use — now and forever. There are no subscriptions, hidden fees, or future charges. We will never ask you to pay.

4. User Conduct

When using DWAR, you agree to:

• Use the service only for lawful, personal purposes
• Respect the privacy of visitors and others
• Not use DWAR to harass, deceive, or harm anyone
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or exploit the app
• Not use DWAR for commercial surveillance without consent

5. Privacy and Data Protection

Your data is protected under our Privacy Policy, which is part of these Terms.

We do not record video or audio calls. We only store minimal data (visitor name, timestamp, QR ID) to show you who visited.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

6.1 Our IP

The DWAR app, website, logo, and technology are protected under copyright and other applicable laws.

6.2 License to Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use DWAR for personal, non-commercial purposes.

6.3 Your Content

You own your visitor logs and account data. We only store and display it to provide the service.

7. Prohibited Uses

You may not use DWAR to:

• Violate any law or regulation
• Infringe someone’s rights or privacy
• Transmit harmful, illegal, or offensive content
• Interfere with our servers or services
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the app
• Use it for spam, fraud, or automated abuse
• Distribute malware or viruses

8. Limitation of Liability

DWAR is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• We are not liable for any loss caused by third-party services (e.g., Google Meet downtime)
• Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed ₹100 (One Hundred Indian Rupees)

This cap exists because DWAR is a free service, not a commercial enterprise.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in abusive behavior.

Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 7 days.

10. Disclaimers

We disclaim all warranties, including:

• That DWAR will be error-free or uninterrupted
• That it is suitable for security or safety purposes
• That it will work on all devices or networks

DWAR is not a security system. It does not replace locks, alarms, or human judgment. Use it at your own discretion.

No system is 100% secure. You use DWAR at your own risk.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

Any dispute shall be resolved through good faith negotiation. If unresolved, it shall be subject to the jurisdiction of competent courts in India.

11.1 Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. You will be notified via the app or website. Continued use means acceptance.
